Guided Tour

Enter Bird Kingdom under the knowledgeable guidance of our zookeepers. On your tour, our staff will impart their knowledge about our birds, reptiles, and exotic animals. They might even make you laugh!
The Living World Walking Class
All Ages
$70 including tax for 10 to 30 people, $140 including tax for 31 to 55 people
The Living World Walking Class is Bird Kingdom's exciting new educational program featuring live animal experiences, interactive games, and a guided tour. Participants explore our iconic free-flying aviary while discovering the science of biodiversity. The Walking Class elevates the tour with Bird Kingdom’s educational curriculum. Groups are led by our animal care team, the same experts who feed and care for the animals every day. Adaptable for all grade levels and ages, this is a field trip experience your group will want to revisit every year! Fully wheelchair accessible and designed for groups of 10 to 55.
Enrichment Workshop
All Ages
$70 including tax for 10 to 30 people, $140 including tax for 31 to 55 people
In Bird Kingdom's Enrichment Workshop, participants build a real parrot toy for the parrots at Bird Kingdom, while learning how zookeepers use enrichment to keep animals mentally and physically thriving. This 30-minute hands-on program offers a behind-the-scenes look at modern animal care. The workshop concludes with a self-guided tour of the aviary where participants can discover hundreds of animals up close and spot enrichment in action, seeing firsthand how the concepts from the workshop play out in the daily lives of real birds.
Subject to availability. Educational programs are not offered on weekends, holidays, during March Break, or in the summer.

Self-Guided Tour
Wander through Bird Kingdom at your own pace, learning about our birds, reptiles, and exotic animals through our exhibit signs and QR codes. Take advantage of the many wonderful photo opportunities throughout our facility!

GROUP BOOKING POLICY
- Group rates: Available for 10 people or more with a reservation.
- Confirmation of Numbers: Final numbers required 48 hours in advance.
- Late Arrivals: Please inform us as soon as possible. After 20 minute grace period, guided tours/scheduled programming may no longer be available. Program rates will still apply.
- Cancellations: Groups are welcome to cancel their reservation up to 48 hours in advance without penalty. For cancellations after this window, a fee will apply for guided tours and/or educational programs (50% of booking total). Exceptions made for inclement weather and any unforeseeable circumstances.
- Nuts: Peanuts/nuts are used in our parrot diets and by our zookeepers. Please let us know if anyone in your group has an allergy and we will accommodate to the best of our ability.
- Tour Bus Parking: Groups may be dropped off in front of our facility (River Rd.) and tour bus parking is located across the street in the Travelodge parking lot. We assume no liability for any damages to the tour bus.
- Other: There is no re-entry after tours and educational programming is complete. No food or drinks permitted inside attraction (except water). Chaperones are responsible for the behaviour of students during their time at Bird Kingdom. Bird Kingdom reserves the right to modify or make changes to programming, hours of operation and policies.
